15mm Warhammer Quest part 3

I don't like to post unfinished things in this blog, but December was busy & I didn't complete much hobby stuff.  So here are some of my work-in-progress 15mm 3D Warhammer Quest sections.  & they said it couldn't be done! :-]  I've started painting-up my Copplestone Castings monsters to begin population of this dungeon, & once the texturing is complete on the corridors & rooms I will be laying the paint on them too.

  1. Wow, did you scratch build these? I could see a market for your moulds or cast pieces. Great work!

  2. Cheers. Yeah, scratch-built from foamboard sheets, with details in card, wooden dowel, & sand scatter. The stage after this is texturing the walls & outer 'rockface' using filler. I've recently switched from all-purpose DIY filler to pre-mixed acrylic thickener for this - it's a lot more convenient, but more expensive.

I'm not sure if they'd be suitable for mould-making, but it's an interesting idea that I hadn't thought of.
